How do I draw a circle with this angle?
Hello guys,
I'm not sure on how to draw a circle like in the picture. It says that the angle is 120, but I dont know how to make it like that.
Here's the final drawing:
Here's where I'm stuck:
Im not really sure how to make those 2 more circles. At first I thought I could just copy this one I have, and somehow move it 120 degrees on this help circle. But I have no idea how.

Array>Circular?
OR
Make two extra copies of the smaller circle in place then ROTATE each 120 with the center osnap.

Hi,
There are many ways to do what you stuck on . as mentioned above .. you can make an overlap copy from your existing small circle then rotate it 120 then Mirror it to the other side .

I see I understand both answers.
Thank you. One more thing tho, how did You create that dashed line? When I try to do it by drawing a regular line, and applying a style to it, it's just not good.

Glad that your issue is resolved .

SELECT YOUR LINE THEN PRESS Ctrl+1 now from Linetype scale change the value to 10 or 0.1 or 0.001 depending on your drawing used units .

@mare.sampbn
just FYI...
the ROTATE command has an COPY option, so not need to make copy first...
Command: _rotate
Current positive angle in UCS: ANGDIR=counterclockwise ANGBASE=0
2 found
Specify base point: _cen of
Specify rotation angle or [ Copy /Reference] <0>: C
Rotating a copy of the selected objects.

Hello guys, I'm kind of in a similar scenario here. Can you guys help me figure out how to draw the small circles with diameters of .20? I attached a photo

The 6 x .20 diameters. I just couldn't figure out the angle of 147.

Assuming it's supposed to be symmetrical in relation to the diagonal [it doesn't say so, but it looks sort of like it, though maybe not exactly], draw a Line from the red dot to the blue dot:
and Rotate it about the red dot by (180°-147°) ÷ 2 = 16.5° to get the right end of the 147° swing.

using Kent1Cooper's math
Move the ucs as in the attached .dwg and enter a line from the origin using @5<16.5
draw the first circle at he intersection of that line and the arc
arraypolar select the circle, enter, the origin for the center, and Fill Angle, 147, enter

Thank you so much for all your help!
