View in gallery Step one: Use the Ultra Dye to the unfinished wood tags. A piddling bit of color goes a long manner! I like that the colors alloy easily, so y'all can layer them, as I did with these tags. I similar to brush 1 color on the bottom of the tag, layer a 2d colour over that up through the middle of the tag, and so add a third colour to the top of the tag. The dyes alloy together beautifully, creating a watercolor type effect. Let the dye dry out completely.
View in gallery Stride two: Choose a stencil and tape it to the front of the tag.

View in gallery Step three: Apply a foam pouncer to dab white chalk pigment over the stencil. Be careful to dab the excess paint off the pouncer before you start. If yous have besides much paint on the foam it will "bleed" under the stencil and distort the image. Remove the stencil and let the paint dry.
Pace four: Add twine to the loop so you lot can hang and display the tag.
